The flexibility we offer in terms of stair design is mirrored in the range of finishes available for treads, balustrades and hand-rails.
Powder-coated finishes can be applied in a broad choice of colours and components can also be supplied primed or galvanised. Side infill panels, balustrades and handrails can be specified in either complementary or contrasting colours. Colours are available to BS or RAL standards; specials can be supplied upon request.
Effectively, your staircase design is only limited by your own imagination!

Treads
Steel treads are supplied as standard in ribbed, plain recessed or durbar formats with plain tray type to accept either a screed or timber infill. Studded rubber covers are available for plain treads.
Timber treads are available as standard in either plywood or hardwood - plain or recessed to accept a carpet infill. However, as you will note from the image gallery, Crescent has manufactured and installed staircases with exotic wood finishes and even glass treads - we will attempt to accommodate your specific requirements.

Balustrades
The standard balustrade range includes basic single verticals with kneerail, additional verticals or housing infill panels (to comply with the 100mm gap rule) to 12mm intermediate running rails, plain or perforated sheet panels or glass infills - either clear, tinted glass or even with a corporate logo - the choice is yours!

Handrails
Standard mild steel sections in either galvanised or powder coated finishes - with or without PVC cover along with hardwood, polished brass or polished stainless steel options.
