At Crescent, we have been involved in the design, supply and installation of simple, multi-flight and split fire escapes since the early 1970s, working with architects, contractors and end users to ensure that the solutions we provide meet all required specifications.
Our policy of stocking components means that a wide range of standard staircases can be delivered to site at short notice in a wide range of widths and to virtually any height, and modular construction enables easy installation usually without the need for scaffolding.

While safe evacuation of a building is the No.1 consideration, we will also work to ensure that any design requirements are satisfied, that the finished staircase is delivered to site promptly, and that costs are kept at an extremely competitive level without compromising on quality.
Our fire escapes are built to BS 5395 specifications and are hot-dip galvanised to BS 729/BS EN ISO 1461, ensuring long lasting protection against the elements. They are soundly engineered and the design is backed by structural calculations.
